WICKLOW Historical Society will be holding its next meeting on Monday, January 17 at 8 p.m. in the Wicklow Pastoral Centre, De La Salle, Wicklow town.

All future meetings will take place at the same venue on the third Monday night of each month.

Society members continue to research and write articles for publication in their 2022 journal. In January the Society will discuss the possible return of winter talks and lectures, all Covid dependent.

The Wicklow Historical Society Journal is still available in local outlets and offers the reader an educational and enlightening trip through Wicklow and district’s rich history and heritage, priced at just €5. It includes articles on Wicklow a century ago, the 1869 rail disaster at Bray Head, Wicklow’s maritime heritage and the Royal Marine Hotel and Charles Stewart Parnell.
