DONARD

Football Club notes

Our No.1 team was involved in a cracker of a game in Coolboy on Thursday last. This was a combination of Coolboy/Shillelagh team which was in danger of being relegated to a lower division in the league, so it was a win or draw at all costs. It was a tough but clean game of fast, skilful. high scoring football between two fast teams with our lads leading by a point at the break. Liam Mullen and Joe Mills scored three goals and eight points between them. The final score was 4-11 to 2-17.

The team was: B Keohoe, C Geoghan, J Grace, R Kelly, Aaron Moody, Oisín Adler, D Furlong, L Metcalfe, J Hanbidge, L Moynihan, Liam Mullen, K Osborne, M Byrne, J Mills and Eoin Sheridan.
