The siblings were travelling towards Avoca with their dad, Nigel, when they came across the shoot. The family decided to watch some of the filming and star Abigail Cowen later joined fans to say hello.

Dad Nigel said the pair were delighted with the opportunity to meet the actress and see some scenes filmed from the hit show.

The Main Street in the village was shut on Wednesday, September 29 and Thursday, September 30 due to filming of the popular show.

Netflix confirmed in July that production of the second series of the hit fantasy show had started in Wicklow. The fantasy series follows a group of teens as they navigate rivalry, romance and supernatural studies at Alfea, a magical boarding school.
