Starting and finishing on Bray Promenade, the 2021 event was a great success and runners of all abilities crossed the finish line after achieving a great challenge around the spectacular Wicklow Mountains.

Cathaoirleach of Wicklow County Council, Cllr Shay Cullen, said: “EcoTrail Wicklow is a fantastic promotional tool that showcases the amazing playground that is Wicklow. Through the network of EcoTrail races around Europe and beyond, and with the support of Failte Ireland and Tourism Ireland, the international reach of our event is tremendous. Wicklow is very much ready and looking forward to welcoming trail runners and outdoor enthusiasts from around the world”.
