An Avoca man charged with assault and criminal damage has his case adjourned at Bray District Court on Thursday, November 11 to

Christian O’Brien (20) Tigroney Lodge, Avoca faces charges for threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour in public at the Vale Road, Arklow on February 16, 2019. He is also charged with three counts of assault at Tigroney Lodge, Avoca on July 30, 2019 and two separate charges of criminal damage at the same location on April 28, 2019 and on July 29, 2019.

The defendant appeared in court via video link from Limerick Prison, where he is serving a separate one-month sentence. He confirmed to Judge David Kennedy that he wished to plead guilty to all charges.

Barrister Eoin Gallagher told the court the defendant had been a juvenile at the time of the incidents and was willing to remain in custody while gardai asked if the victims wished to make victim impact statements.
