Bray Lions Club is holding its twelfth charity auction on Thursday, December 1.
All proceeds will go to the club’s various charitable causes.
A range of more than 100 items and services will be on offer to the highest bidder.
There will be vouchers from local traders, Christmas gift sets, 4 ball golf vouchers, homemade seasonal fare, decorative and Christmas themed tableware, home utensils and appliances, presentation hampers and baskets.
Bray Lions said: “An opportunity for gifts and novelties at knockdown prices!”
Proceeds of auction and raffle, the last one contributed almost €5,000, will be applied in total to our range of charitable causes. Examples of which include: Holidays for older folks in Trabolgan, weekend respite course for carers, breakfast club in two Bray primary schools, hampers and vouchers for Vincent de Paul clients in Bray, support for sports for less gifted children, Gaelic training sessions for mothers and others, together with support for local and national causes.
The event takes place in The Wild Goose, Main Street at 9 p.m. (straight after the World Cup match).
