THE Divine Comedy and Jerry Fish are two of the latest acts added to the bill for the Kaleidoscope Family Festival taking place in Blessington.
From June 24 to June 26, Russborough House will open its gates to thousands of families due to attend the festival.
Festival fans will be treated to three days of energetic fun with music and entertainment spread over twelve stages, situated in the beautiful surrounds of the stunning Russborough House estate.
Joining an already jam-packed line-up is The Divine Comedy who will bring their eclectic sounds to the main stage on Sunday night. It wouldn’t be Kaleidoscope without showman extraordinaire - the inimitable Jerry Fish who will be bringing his Electric Sideshow to the festival again this year.
Jerry Fish now holds the exalted position of Ringmaster of the whole festival, and will make the main stage his home for the weekend – hosting, performing and welcoming special guests onstage. On the mainstage Jerry will host his friends Frank & Walters, San Patricio Mariachi Band, and will of course be performing himself with The Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow Band.
There’ll be a collaboration between poet Stephen James Smith and illustrator Steve Simpson, and carnival sideshow shenanigans and circus workshops from Foxy P Cox, Wobbly Circus, Fierce Family Fire Show, Time Travel Theatre, Stumbles the Clown and many more
A limited number of family day tickets have been released. Family day tickets are available in packages of four for just €33.30 per person. They can be purchased via Ticketmaster.
The festival also features a number of new additions to reflect the changing ages of families in attendance. You can enjoy porridge parties, baby raves, laughter yoga, bubble performance, adventure sports, live music, cinema, the world’s largest bouncy castle, science shows and lots of different workshops.
