Signal Arts Centre’s first exhibition of 2022 features works by a group of nine artists who use a variety of mediums.

Rhythms’ is a response to an idea by ReVere, a group of  nine visual artists based in Co. Meath and the surrounding areas.

The group engaged in a mutual process of investigation, exploration, constructive discussion and a sharing of processes and ideas over the last two years, which lead to the artworks on display in the show.

Works reflect each artist’s own practice in interpretations and narrative, while at the same time there is a collaborative thread running through the show.

Techniques and materials displayed show a diversity reflecting the membership of ReVerve. Rhythmic stitching, photography, painting, printing, charcoal, soft and hard sculptures and installation works are present in thoughtful and investigative ways.

‘Rhythms’ continues until Sunday, January 16 at Signal Arts Centre.

Signal Arts has confirmed that its upcoming programme is expected to include an exhibition by Bray Camera Club, and solo shows by artists Shane Harrison, Karen Hickey and Lenore Collins over the coming months.

The arts centre is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. More information about upcoming shows is available at the Signal Arts Centre website/
