Greystones Community College will host an exhibition called ‘Trasna na dTonnta’ on Thursday, September 22 from 6.30p.m. at their premises in Kilcoole.

The exhibit promises a visual feast created via a collaborative and creative whole-school project focussing on the theme of the sea and Wicklow coast.

Deputy Principal, Maria Lynch said: “Students have worked on a variety of creative and scientific projects and their hard work will be on show on the night. The projects on display will examine environmental conservation work, coastal erosion studies, research on local marine flora and fauna, seabird migration, research into micro-plastics and lots more besides.”

Expect sea-themed artwork, live musical performances by the school choir, short films and a theatre display on the production of GCC Player’s production of JM Synge’s play ‘Riders to the Sea’, which was staged back in May.
