LEGENDARY singer Grace Jones Has been added to the Beyond the Pale line-up, with the music and arts festival taking place in the Glendalough Estate over three days in June.
This will be her only Irish performance of the summer. Her set will cover all the hits of her illustrious career including 'La Vie En Rose', 'Slave to the Rhythm', ‘Pull Up to the Bumper', 'Libertango' and many more.
Grace will be performing in Glendalough weeks after her 75 birthday! She has collaborated with Beyonce on 'Move' a track from Beyonce's album of the year and with Gorillaz on their track 'Charger'.
The eclectic bill will also feature upbeat pop heroes Hot Chip, Grammy-winning funkster Thundercat and electronic pioneers Jon Hopkins and Leftfield – who will be playing their first Irish show in over five years.
The three day camping festival will also host American soul legend Candi Staton who will be performing her last ever European tour.
The family-friendly festival has discounted tickets for children and takes place in the stunning surrounds of Glendalough Estate with its sweeping valleys and forests, hosting performances across seven areas over the three days of the weekend. In addition to the music, there will be cabaret, comedy, theatre, art installations, wellness, yoga and food and drink with over 150 acts in total to be revealed in the coming months.
Three-day tickets start at €195 and the Festival offers luxury on-site camping, glamping, as well as on-site parking.
