Submissions have now closed and artists have been chosen to be in the running for ‘Best In Show’ at the 10th Annual Signal Open Exhibition, which takes place at the Signal Arts Centre in Bray.

The show runs from August 2 to 14, with an official opening night scheduled for Friday, August 5 from 7-9p.m. At that event, the winner of the top prize will be announced and awarded €1,000.

The Signal Arts Centre says that one of their founding tenets is the belief that there is a huge amount of talent that goes unrecognised and that an opportunity should be there for all artists to exhibit their work. The Signal Open is just such an opportunity.

The gallery added: “We have been delighted by the response and the quality of work submitted each year and we are very grateful to all of the artists for their support.”
