An “incredible Spring Sing concert” was how the Greystones Unity Gospel Choir’s annual concert was described, which took place on Saturday, May 13 in St Patrick’s Church.

The concert was in celebration of spring and the power of singing and the event has become a popular fixture in the Greystones community, bringing people of all ages, backgrounds and creeds together, honouring the spirit of the choir, which is non-denominational and boasts over 60 members across County Wicklow.

The choir’s diverse repertoire includes traditional gospel songs and contemporary pop hits, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The concert highlights the numerous benefits of singing as a wellness activity, with studies showing how singing helps reduce stress and improves overall physical and mental health. The choir is passionate about spreading this message and encourages everyone to sing in their daily lives.
