Enniskerry Welcomes - update

We are delighted to announce that we have at last been offered a house for rent in Enniskerry for a refugee family. We have been searching for a house for a long time, and finding one now means we can now complete the final part of the Community Sponsorship project to welcome a family into our community. It may be several weeks or months before the family arrives as there is a lot of paperwork to get through.

In the meantime we are organising our annual walk in the Enniskerry community on Sunday June 25th to mark World Refugee Day, and we encourage as many of you as possible to join us (details to be shared shortly on our website and Facebook page).

Finally, we would like to thank everybody in the community for your generosity and support over the last two and a half years. Our work would not have been possible without you. Keep up-to-date on our website, Enniskerrywelcomes.weebly.com and on our Facebook page, Enniskerry Welcomes.
