Parish Churches Schedule of Masses: Schedule of Masses: Weekday Masses are celebrated in St Mary’s at 10.15 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Please be aware that attending weekday Masses is in lieu of attending Sunday Mass. Prayer Services at 10.15 a.m. Wednesday and Saturday. Weekend Masses – Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m. St Mochonog’s – Sunday at 10 a.m. St Patrick’s, Curtlestown – Sunday at 10 a.m. St Kevin’s, Glencree – 9 a.m. on the First Sunday of the month.

Masses Update: Weekday Mass is broadcast by RTÉ News Now at 10.30 a.m. and also through EWTN, and the Radio Maria channel which can be found in Saorview and Channel 210. Mass from Knock Shrine is broadcast each day at midday; Rosary at 7 p.m. and Mass at 7.30 p.m. on knockshrine/watch-live; Mass is also broadcast by web-cam from St Mary’s Pro Cathedral Dublin. For a list of churches broadcasting Mass by web-cam go to dublindiocese.ie/list-of-churches-with-webcams-to-watch-listen-to-daily Mass/or Google ‘massonline’ for details of Masses streamed in Ireland and Britain.

Signed Mass Cards: These are available in the parish office. An offering is received with gratitude and in another way of supporting your local clergy. If you pay for a Mass Offering online using the Donate button on our website please email the office with your intention – thank you. We also have Thank you, Exam Result Congrats, Get Well, birthday and ‘Thinking of you’ Mass Bouquets available.

Mass Intentions: If you wish to have Mass offered for a family member or friend you may book through the parish office and the Mass may be attended or viewed on Webcam from your home due to Covid-19 via enniskerryparish.ie.

Sacrament of Baptism: Please call the parish secretary of your area to arrange for the celebration of baptism. Please note that a month’s notice is helpful to secure your date and preparation for the sacrament.

Sacrament of Marriage: The four churches of the parish are very popular for the celebration of Marriage. Many couples arrange the church booking well in advance and before confirming hotel arrangements. We invite all interested couples to make contact with the parish secretaries approximately six months before the wedding date.

Celebratory Mass: Congratulations to all who took part in last Sunday week’s Celebratory Mass for Sacramental recipients. A special word of thanks to all of the children who read so eloquently, to Sharon and Kieran for the beautiful singing and music and to Joan and Ena for the tea and refreshments. We also wish to thank Mabel and Grainne for the beautiful flowers at the Ceremony. We hope to increase the number of Family Masses followed by refreshments and cuppa in the new academic year. Wishing all of the school children and college students a lovely summer.

Blessing of graves in the Parish: These will take place as follows: Kilmacanogue on Sunday, August 21, at 3 p.m.; Curtlestown on Sunday, August 28, at 3 p.m., and Glencree on Sunday, September 4, at 9.30 a.m. (after Mass).

Blessing of graves in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray: This will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 17.

2022 Pilgrimage to Lourdes – from Wednesday, September 7, for five nights. This year Enniskerry and Kilmacanogue are joining with Bray, Greystones, and Kilquade Pastoral Area. Cost – €789 per person sharing. More Information is on posters in the church Porch or from 087 6955154.

The Rosary: The Rosary is recited at 9.45 a.m. each morning in St Mary’s. The Novena to the Miraculous Medal is held after 10.15 a.m. Mass each Monday morning. Both are available to view on the webcam – enniskerryparish.ie.

Covid-19 Update: Please continue to sanitise your hands on entry and exit; wear an appropriate face covering; keep your distance from anybody outside your household group. Do not attend church if you are experiencing any common symptoms of Covid-19 and get vaccinated when advised. If you do not feel comfortable attending a weekend Mass, please consider attending a weekday Mass instead, or participating via webcam.

Dr Mary Muldowney, Dublin City Council Historian-in-Residence for Dublin Central, is working on a new history of the Dublin Cattle Market. Opening hours are Tuesday 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.; Wednesday: 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday: 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. The library is closed on Mondays and Thursdays and on the Saturdays of Bank Holiday weekends. Enniskerry Welcomes Ukrainians

A coffee morning is held in Parochial Hall beside Poppies each Monday morning from 10 a.m. to midday to welcome our Ukrainian visitors.

English classes for Ukrainians

These continue each Tuesday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Parochial Hall if you know anybody who would like to attend.

Meals on Wheels Service

This operates in Enniskerry and Kilmacanogue and delivers hot meals every Tuesday and Thursday to older people in their homes. It’s an opportunity to connect with the community and provide a hot meal and social contact call to older people in the area. We are looking for volunteer drivers who can give up two or three hours twice a month to facilitate this much needed service. Interested volunteers may contact Maoiliosa Kelly at 086 8322466 for further information.

LARAGH-GLENDALOUGH

Glendalough Heritage Forum

We are delighted to announce that Glendalough Community Excavations will return 8th-19th August 2022. If you have an interest in archaeology and Glendalough it is a fantastic experience. We regret we cannot offer places to those under 18 this year but we hope to welcome younger participants again next year.

Adult places (subject to availability) are available from fixed blocks of two or three days. No prior knowledge of excavation is required and we endeavour to accommodate people of all abilities. For information and details of application please email glendaloughheritageforum@gmail.com.

Brockagh Market & Car Boot

It is that time of the month again to have a browse and get those bargains! Open on 10th July to the public from 10am to 3pm. Tea, coffee and food snacks are available. Indoor and outdoor stalls with a variety of items for sale with plenty of bargains from gifts, clothes, plants, books, toys, aloe vera products, artwork, tools, household items etc. Free parking and customer toilet facilities.

Wicklow Mountains National Park

There will be Family Fun Days from 2–4pm every Tuesday for July and August. Fun for all the family with nature walks, arts and crafts, treasure hunts and bug safaris. Free with booking essential. Tae kwon-Do

Children, teens and adults will enjoy Taekwon-Do, a Korean art of self-defence. Brockagh Digital Hub

The Brockagh Resource Centre was delighted to launch the new Brockagh Digital Hub recently. This exciting new venture has been funded by the Dept of Rural and Community Development. Our new remote working hub caters for individual working professionals, students and corporate companies.

We have a mixture of Hot Desks, Dedicated (Weekly/Monthly) Desks, Pod and Meeting rooms available with High Speed Broadband Connection.

Under the National Connected Hubs Voucher Scheme you will receive 3 free days of hub use per person. Vouchers will be valid until the end of August. Register now as a Member on our connectedhubs.ie site to avail of the free vouchers and get an alert when your vouchers are available. You will be able to access your credits from Monday the 27th of June.
