Armstrong Life Pharmacy in Arklow raised a total €3503.99 for Crumlin Children’s Hospital at a spin-a-thon fundraiser in aid of Crumlin Children’s Hospital.
There were two stationary bikes located inside the Armstrong Life Pharmacy, on the Wexford Road, with the public encouraged to fundraise by taking turns pedalling throughout the day.
Alongside the fundraising cycle, fitness guru and health advisor Karl Henry from Operation Transformation dropped by to give a wellness talk, with the Gorey Ukes providing ample entertainment.
Praising the Arklow community and beyond for their generosity, Laura Armstrong said: “A huge thank you again to all involved for raising a whopping €3503.99 for CMRF Crumlin Crumlin Children’s Hospital!
“We had Karl Henry in store who did an amazing job talking to you guys and answering all your questions.
“We could not have achieved this result without the support of those near and far. Thank you so much to those who called in-store, hopped on our bike to pedal, donated in-store and online, and everyone who went out of their way to support such an important cause.
“We hope you enjoyed the day and enjoy looking through the photos and videos from the event
“We appreciate every donation and all help given on the day. Thank you to everyone who pedalled and joined us to make the day so memorable.”
