Rovers and Rangers remain deadlocked

Premier Division: Shamrock Rovers and Gorey Rangers remain deadlocked at the top of the Premier Division table after both recorded victories on Sunday.

The Enniscorthy men chalked up an impressive 4-0 away win over Tombrack, with Dan Carroll, James Carty, Martin McKeown and Willie Dobbs getting on the scoresheet.

Rangers had a tougher assignment, as a Gavin O'Brien goal was enough for them to collect the points against New Ross Celtic, while goalkeeper Seán Allen also played his part, pulling off some fine saves.

Hiago Correa grabbed the only goal of the game as Courtown Hibs won 1-0 in Bunclody.

Elsewhere, Bridge Rovers edged out Gorey Celtic 2-1 (see focus match).
