O'Brien the Hibs hero

Premier Division

Courtown Hibs are going along very nicely so far this season, and on Sunday they made it four wins from five Premier Division games with a 3-2 win over Bridge Rovers in Castlebridge.

Daniel O'Brien was the main man for Hibs, netting a hat-trick, with Jody Hynes and Mark Mythen replying for the hosts.

Moyne Rangers will be looking to kick on with the Starlights contingent back in the fold, and on Sunday they proved much too good for New Ross Celtic.

The Enniscorthy outfit ran out 6-1 winners, with James Peare netting a hat-trick and Peter O'Rourke, Dillon Redmond and Cormac Kehoe adding a goal apiece. Eoin Rhodes hit the back of the net for Ross Celtic.

Gorey Celtic finally got off the mark at the seventh time of asking with a hard-fought win in Tombrack on Sunday.

Thomas 'Tucker' Cloke got the all-important goal for the north county side to get their season up and running.
