The Wexford Youths Women may be going through a rough patch at the moment, with two cup exits in quick succession before the league season took its mid-term break until June 24.
However, star striker Claire O'Riordan continues to be a major threat up front, and she is figuring prominently in the plans of Republic of Ireland team coach Colin Bell.
He gave the Limerick native another international cap on Thursday in Tallaght Stadium when the home country played a scoreless draw with Iceland in a friendly played in very poor conditions.
O'Riordan came off the bench in the 80th minute as a replacement for Megan Campbell on a positive night for the team.
It was their fifth clean sheet in six games, achieved against a side travelling to the European championships next month.
