Una Leacy rocketed Wexford closer to the quarter-finals of the Liberty Insurance All Ireland Senior Camogie Championship at Wexford Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Oulart-The Ballagh attacker caught Kate Kelly's laser line-ball in the final minute of normal time and planted an unstoppable shot past Aoife Murray to break a 0-9 tie.
Wexford were boosted by the return of Mary Leacy and Deirdre Codd to the starting line-up, moves made with the intent on shoring up a leaky defence and it proved successful.
Cork played with the strong breeze in the opening period but didn't really take advantage. They led 0-7 to 0-3 at the break, with Orla Cotter grabbing three overs, but leaving three defenders deep marking space impinged significantly on their attacking moves.
Wexford drew level when Kelly pointed in the 42nd minute and again when Emma Walsh notched eight minutes later. Kelly and Cotter exchanged overs before Leacy smashed home the late winner.
