It's time for the 'Fittest Superstars'

Following on its success from last year, 'Wexford's Fittest Superstars' returns on Friday evening, December 29.

On the night, ten teams will compete, as Wexford's senior hurlers along with the Ladies footballers will return to do battle for the tag of 'Wexford's Fittest Superstars'. The ten teams will compete across five different events, testing their fitness and strength, taken from the recent episode of 'Ireland's Fittest Family' TV show, the brainchild of Wexford hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald.

So, for followers of Wexford hurling and ladies football, the date is Friday, December 29, in Clayton White's Hotel, Wexford town, with a 7p.m. start. The price is €20 with all proceeds going towards the preparations of both Senior hurling and ladies football teams.

Tickets are available from players and members of the team managements. Last year's initial event was one of the showpieces of the year and is once again deserving of every support.
