THE CHILDREN'S Charity Barnardos is encouraging toddlers across Wexford to make their steps count by taking part in the Danone Big Toddle for Barnardos this May and June.
Over 12,000 miles will be toddled over the two months by children all over Ireland in a fundraising effort to help Ireland's most vulnerable children.
Last year more than 652 toddlers in Wexford took it in their stride and raised over €6,000 toddling over 326 miles towards the target.
The Danone Big Toddle for Barnardos is calling on parents, schools, creches, montessoris, families and community groups in Wexford to help raise vital funds to support the work that Barnardos does in communities all over Ireland, and make the eighth year the biggest toddle year yet. Every half mile toddle will be added up together to help Barnardos reach the nationwide target of 12,000 miles.
