The death of well-known Wexfordman Jason O'Leary has caused deep sadness to his family and many friends.
Many tributes have been paid after Jason sadly passed away yesterday (Monday) following an illness. He was 39 years old and would have celebrated his 40th birthday in May.
He was a familiar face to many people through working with Charles Pierce Menswear on the Main Street for over 10 years up to the end of 2017. In 2014, the Wexford father graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Addiction Counselling and Psychotherapy from Glyndwr University in Wales.
He was involved with the It's Good To Talk counselling service in Wexford and also with the Phoenix Centre in Gorey as well as having facilitated groups recovering from substance misuse as an addiction counsellor/facilitator with the HSE. Jason was committed to mental health care and to helping people overcome addictions and recover their lives.
He was also employed for a time as a support worker with Wexford Local Development.
