The London Wexford Association has elected a new committee for the year at its Annual General Meeting which was held in Kilburn.
The meeting took place at the Done Our Bit Club and it attracted a large crowd - much to the organisers' delight.
The outgoing officers were acknowledged on the night for their great contribution throughout the year and for their commitment going back through their long association with the organisation.
There are a number of changes to the committee for 2019 with the following officers elected: President - Michael Sills (Murntown); Chairperson - Lucia Butler (Clongeen); Vice-Chairman Paddy Doyle (Rathnure); Secretary - Bridget Molloy (New Ross); Assistant Secretary - Sinèad Ffrench (London and Clonroche); Treasurer - Breda Weller (London and Rathnure); PRO - Orla Harrell (London and Horeswood); Registrar - Sharon Cave (Bridgetown); Life President - Dick Butler (Adamstown); Life Vice-President - Nancy O' Hara (Oulart) and Life Vice-President - Phil Roche (Glynn-Barntown).
The committee members for the year will include: Jean Duggan; Noel Furlong; Sinèad Harrell; Martin Harrell; Martin Flynn; Marie Doyle; Siobhan Talbot and Justin Ffrench.
As incoming Chairperson, Ms Butler congratulated all of the new committee members and said she is looking forward to working with them over the coming year.
