Kilmore Retirement Group look forward to first outing

MEMBERS of Kilmore Active Retirement Association are looking forward to their first social outing in August.

The association which was founded earlier this year, has organised a trip to County Clare from August 17 to 19.

Members will stay in the Clare Inn Hotel in Dromoland on the first night and the following day , they will be welcomed to Bunratty Castle as the guest of the Earl of Thomond.

In Bunratty, they will be wined and dined in splendour with an after-dinner Irish cabaret featuring the Bunratty singers and harpists.

The group will also visit the town of Ennis, the 19th century Swiss Cottage in Tipperary and the award-winning garden Terra Nova.

Kilmore Active Retirement Association is inviting members from other clubs and non-members to join them on their first holiday. For more information contact Breda Whelan on 086 3258386.
