Calling all fashionistas, WSBPA will be taking to the catwalk for 'Rock the Runway', an urban, upbeat fashion show in Whites Hotel at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 13, all in aid of the Make a Wish Foundation.
This is a fashion show with a difference, all models are trained dancers aged from five to 20 years, and its pulsating soundtrack sees it seamlessly flow from start to finish.
Choreographed by Suzanne O'Leary, it's an exciting, fun two hours of fashion from The Loft, Bambooska, DV8, Little Gems, Dunnes, Charles Pierce and The Bridal Boutique.
Compere for the night is Sharon Clancy, well known for her experience in West End shows such as Mama Mia, We Will Rock You and many more. She is also co-founder of Superstars Stage Academy, Wexford's biggest stage school and agency, with Suzanne. All profits from the show will go to the Make a Wish foundation, a children's charity that grants the wishes of children living with life-threatening medical conditions.
The students of the Wexford School of Ballet and Performing Arts are busy perfecting their struts, while also finding the time to learn their moves and appear in three or four shows a year. There will be spot prizes and fun, so help raise this figure by supporting the Make a Wish foundation. Tickets are €10, on sale from WSBPA and Whites Hotel.
