A table quiz will be held this week in Wexford to raise money for children in Liberia who are at risk of contracting the deadly disease Ebola.
The fundraiser organised by Wexford photographer Padraig Grant will be held in the Sky and the Ground pub in South Main Street on Thursday, September 25 at 8 p.m.
Wexford stand-up performer Michelle Dooley Mahon will be the quiz master.
The appeal is being supported by Wexford Lions Club which has set up a Bank of Ireland account for donations.
Padraig who founded the aid agency ICEAID/Orphan Relief in 2006 to help children in Liberia, said he has friends and colleagues working with vulnerable children in the area most affected by the Ebola outbreak.
The Alfred and Agnes Memorial Centre for Children where Wexford funds have helped build a school and clinic, is currently coping with the Ebola threat as well as food shortages.
Padraig is inviting people to lend a hand by attending the table quiz or organising a fundraiser of their own.
