Ross Bolger (20) with an address at Hayesland, Kilrane but currently resident at Wheatfield Prison was before the District Court in Ardcavan to receive further sentence.
The young man pleaded guilty to all charges down for consideration by Judge Gerard Haughton at the court sitting of February 22.
The court heard from Garda Alan Byrne how Bolger attempted last September to sell a lap-top computer and an Apple iPad which had been stolen.
The defendant was also responsible for burglaries in which three different shops were damaged last year to the tune of €2,800 in total - O'Donnell's pharmacy in Taghmon, La Cote restaurant in Wexford and Captain Cone, also in Wexford.
The court learned that the €800 of repairs required to the window and till at La Cote was not covered by insurance.
On another occasion, a search showed that Bolger had a fake €10 note which had been taken from Tom Fox's garage in Taghmon.
The business had it for comparison purposes, to assist in spotting counterfeit cash.
The court was reminded that the defendant was already serving 19 months detention for assault and burglary.
Two sentences of six months each were recorded for the latest set of crimes, both terms to be served concurrently with the existing sentence.
