Wexford County Council handed out €441,133 in grant aid to local businesses last year.
The money was allocated to 96 different businesses through the authority's Local Enterprise Office which is specifically aimed at helping local small to medium sized enterprises.
The figure is contained in the local authority's Economic & Community Investment programme 2018 - 2022.
The programme report also revealed that 111 planning enforcement notices were investigated last year while 300 new tenancies were offered to housing applicants.
In addition to the money handed out in grant aid to businesses an additional 350 community groups also received amenity grants.
There were 1,020 environmental pollution cases investigated along with 2,510 incidents of illegal dumping - which were investigated and cleaned up.
