La Côte Seafood Restaurant hosted a special six-course tasting menu in aid of Wexford Hospice Homecare and the Irish Hospice Foundation which raised €3,000.
The event attracted a full-house to the popular eatery and featured a menu especially created by chefs Arnie Josue and Paul Hynes using locally sourced ingredients from producers including: Regan Chickens, Myler's Fish Merchants, Glen Casey, Tindal Wines, Cleverman Beer, Richie Doyle Butchers, Mooncoin Beetroot and Ann Zugel Organic Vegetables.
Speaking about the event to this newspaper Edwina Hynes, from La Côte, said the two chefs had worked together in L'Ecrivain and added it was good to see them reunited: 'It was great to see them back in the kitchen together.'
She said there was added poignancy to the event as it was also a tribute to Mr Josue's close friend Frank Finnucane who sadly passed away after a long battle with spinal cancer. He was only 39-years-of-age.
'The charity dinner was about raising money for an incredible foundation that has helped so many as well as remembering Arnie's friend,' said Ms Hynes.
