This was the first time that Wexford collected the two premier Underage doubles titles in the one year, as Oisin Foley, Tomas Hall, Galen Riordan and Padraig Foley celebrated their successes.
In the under 14 doubles Oisin, partnered by Tomas Hall showed terrific character to produce a thrilling tie-break over Tipperary opposition in their own back yard, as Tiernan O`Brien and John Ryan were cast aside in a terrific final on a 1415; 15-4; 15-11 scoreline.
It was a remarkable success for the Castlebridge duo with Osin Foley adding the title to the All-Ireland Feile na nGael skills title he collected earlier in the year, while Tomas has another year at under 14 level as the 13 year old stepped up in age groups for this fantastic win.
It proved to be a special day for the Foley family as Oisin`s brother Padraig took the under 16 doubles title with the help of Galen Riordan and they too defeated a highly regarded premier county pairing in their home court.
