Around Wexford Town
It was a grand slam night for Luke Roche from Liam Mellows Park when he celebrated his 21st birthday at Wexford Wanderers Rugby Club.
The party was organised by Luke's family and girlfriend Jade Kelly, who said a great night was had by all.
Luke was joined by his parents Paddy and Toyna, his little brother Conor, his grandmother Frances Roche, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
A former pupil in Kennedy Park NS, he went on to complete his education at Selskar College and now works as a plumbing apprentice with C&D Delaney.
When not working, rugby is his first love and he plays as a flanker on the Wanderers' senior team. He is also a big fan of mixed martial arts, and never misses an opportunity to socialise with friends, especially enjoying the Sunday night trad session in Maggie May's.
His girlfriend Jade played a big role in the party, creating an artistic cake for the occasion. Among the gifts of note were an All Blacks jersey from his best friend Kevin, and a trip to Liverpool from his other best friend Jesse.
