Eddie Wall was gentle and kind

THE LATE Eddie Wall was a kind and gentle man.

Eddie (72), of Ballymagyr, Duncormick, passed away recently at his home, surrounded by his loving family, who have been deeply saddened by his sudden death.

One of the late Edward and Margaret Wall's nine children, Eddie stayed on the family farm for all of his working life, carrying on the work of his late father.

Eddie enjoyed the simple things in life and his family and farm were what mattered most to him. He was also a great lover of animals.

He reposed at his home in Ballymagyr on Sunday, September 3, before removal to Rathangan Church for his Requiem Mass, which was celebrated by Fr Tom Dalton and Fr Brendan Nolan.

The readings were taken by his nieces and nephews, while his sisters Nellie and Ann brought up the gifts during the offertory procession. The Mass also featured some beautiful songs from Tony Jeffers.

Eddie was laid to rest in Rathangan Cemetery with his late parents.

He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his brothers Tom and Jim, his sister Kathleen, Nellie, Sr Anne (May), Ann, Mary, his extended family, neighbours and friends.
