Charity swim in aid of RNLIA
A CHARITY swim in aid of the RNLI will take place from the Small Saltee Island to Kilmore Quay on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Around 20 members of the Wexford Masters Open Water Sea Swimming Club will take to the water at 12.45 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, with the fastest swimmer expected to take about an hour to reach the small beach at Kilmore Quay. All the money raised by the sponsored event, which will be held in conjunction with the lifeboat open day, will go to Kilmore Quay RNLI.
While the swim will include swimmers of all ages and abilities, it is only open to club members due to insurance restrictions.
