Bree-Galbally: Slaney Adventure Race - The Slaney Adventure Race will take place on Saturday, February 8, same routes and events as last year.

Yoga Classes with Grace will resume in the Bree Community Centre Dance Studio on Monday, February 3, at 8.15 p.m. and on Thursday mornings at 10.15 a.m. Sessions are €10.
Ballyhogue dinner dance
Ballyhogue GAA Club and Ballyhogue Ladies' Football Club dinner dance takes place on Friday, February 28, in the Riverside Park Hotel at 8 p.m. Music is by Denny Davitt and the Heartbeats.

Bree Parish Journal No 19
Bree Parish Journal No 19 is now on sale. The journal covers many of the events and activities in the area over the past two years, as well as a number of items of historical interest. The cost of the journal is €10 and it is available in Byrnes of Bree, Keeleys. Ballybrennan, Londis Tomnalosset and also in the Bookshops in Enniscorthy and Wexford.

Ballyhogue GAA lotto
Since we relaunched the Lotto last March, the jackpot has been won three times. We have had over 130 match-three winners and paid out approximately €20,000 in prize money.
Your support is extremely important to the success of our club and we have plans to develop the grounds in the next few years especially for the underage. Scoil Mhuire NS Ballyhogue
Friday, January 17, was a very special day for Scoil Mhuire NS Ballyhogue. The school has been awarded a Health Promoting School Flag on the basis that there are many positive initiatives in the school which aim to improve the health and fitness of all the students there. It is a huge achievement for the school and Nuala Harper from the HSE presented the pupils with their award and raised the flag. Well done to all involved.
National Community Engagement Day
An Garda Síochána, in conjunction with the National Rural Safety Forum, are hosting a National Community Engagement Day on January 31 in 500 locations around the country. These are one hour 'meet and greet' sessions. It is an opportunity for the local community to identify with and become familiar with their local gardaí and local community representatives. The proposed locations for Co. Wexford on Friday, January 31, are; O'Brien's Londis/Top Service Station, Larkin's Cross at 10 a.m. Londis Piercestown - midday, SuperValue Rosslare Harbour - 2 p.m. Goff's Centra, Bridgetown - 4 p.m.
Changes to lane layout at N25 Whitford Roundabout
Please be advised that from Thursday, January 23, the existing Lane Layout at the N25 Whitford Roundabout will be partially altered. For traffic approaching the Whitford Roundabout coming from the Maldron Hotel direction, the Left Lane will be for left turning traffic only (R733 Wexford Town) and the Right Lane will be for all other directions (Straight On for N25 Rosslare Harbour and Right for R733 Duncannon). Camogie couch to 5k
The camogie club Couch to 5k is back. With the added option of a HIIT session after your run/walk. The first session is Monday, January 27, at 7 p.m. and continues till March 5 Registration from 6.30 p.m. Come down to the GAA grounds in Killurin, join in the fun and get fit. €35 individual adult rate, €45 for two members of same family and €55 for three members of same family.
Coiste na nÓg
We are organising fundamental movement training for all girls and boys in senior infants and first class which involves balance, locomotive and ball skills to help aid development and enjoyment of sports but in particular for their hurling/football skills. It runs on Tuesdays with senior infants from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. and first class from 7.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. in Glynn Hall. €2 per session. Three Rocks Trail relaunch date
Barntown Heritage Group has decided to officially relaunch the Three Rocks Trail on Saturday, May 30, at 2 p.m. This date will coincide with the 222-year anniversary of the famous 1798 Battle of Three Rocks. The group also plans to hold the first official walk with guides across the upgraded 13.5km trail on Sunday, May 31. Further details on these events will be published over the coming months, so we ask you to save the dates, as it promises to be a great weekend.
Glynn NS Valentines Tea Party
Glynn NS will host a Tea Party on Sunday, February 16, from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Glynn Hall. Proceeds from the party will go towards their school Development Fund. Tickets are priced as follows: Family €10; Adult €5; Child €3. All support appreciated.

Oylegate-Glenbrien community first responders are looking for new members. There will be training on Monday, Feburary 3. We work in conjunction with the national ambulance service and are dispatched by them when you dial 999 or 112 in the event cardiac arrest, chest pain, stroke or choking. Oylegate-Glenbrien camogie club are having a clothing collection to raise funds for the club. If you are having a clear out, we will take all your unwanted clothes, paired shoes, handbags, belts, curtains and blankets. No duvets, pillows, socks, underwear or wet clothing. The lights will be on at the walking track at the GAA Grounds every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 7.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and the facility is available to all in the community, so come along and stay fit over the winter months.

The bingo in Mernaghs is now being run to help raise funds for Oylegate-Glenbrien camogie club. Bingo commences at 9.15 on a Thursday night and all support would be greatly appreciated.
