Deepest sympathy to the Colfer family Newtown on the death of Alice Colfer née Carthy in her 91st year who passed away last week. Beloved wife of the late John and mother of Margaret, Pádraig, Seán and Mary. Sadly missed by her loving family she reposed at Ryan's funeral home Wellingtonbridge on Tuesday, March 12, with removal on Wednesday to the Church of Mary Immaculate and St Joseph Carrig-on-Bannow for funeral Mass. Burial was afterwards in Bannow cemetery. May she Rest in Peace.

The Junior B Football had a great comeback in the second half over Horeswood. They were 2-3 to 2points down at half time. Final score B/b 2-06 H/w 2-07.
Our ladies' football team had a great match and win over Cushinstown with a scoreline of B/b 10-08 to C/t 7-05.
The Intermediate Footballers played St Fintan's in a home game and took the points in their league match. 1-18 to 1-07. Well done to all the teams.

With effect from Tuesday, March 26, the Kilrane-Rosslare Harbour Men's Shed will open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In order to comply with health and safety regulations and our insurance cover, there must be a minimum of two adults on site during these times. New members are always welcome, and we would be delighted to see you even if you just want to pop by for a cuppa and a chat.
Rehearsals for our full length production 'Same Old Moon' continue, with only a few weeks to our first performance. This play is the life of Brenda Barnes and her story as a young nine-year-old girl right through to her forties. As we accompany her through her life we witness many challenges she faces including having a short - tempered mother and a father who is his worst enemy.
Performance dates are as follows: Sunday, April 7, St Mary's Hall, Fethard-on-Sea; Friday, April 12, Our Lady's Island Community Centre; Thursday the 18th, Friday and Saturday, April 19, and 20, National Opera House, Wexford. Rosslare Development Association will host a public meeting Wednesday, March 20, at 8 p.m. in Rosslare Community Centre. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an update on the Association's recent activities, including feedback from meetings with government ministers and plans for capital investment in the village. There will be further discussion on the rollout of the village survey, designed to give all residents an opportunity to shape the future of their community.

Tidy Towns Volunteer Group
We are confident that there are many people of all age groups interested in the protection of our Natural Environment especially our Beach and Sand Dunes.
We have been working with Clean Coasts Ireland and particularly with the Clean Coast Officer for Wexford and we would ask everyone with an interest in Beach and Costal Protection to note that on Saturday, March 30, at mid-day we will commence with the restoration work on the Sand Dune beside the Life-Guard Tower.
Clean Coast Officers and personnel will be present to give a Demonstration on the replanting of Marram Grass and everybody is welcome. The Environment Dept of Wexford County Council is also supporting and working with us on this project.
