A free Imagination Gym workshop will be held each Tuesday in Grantstown Daycare Centre till July 9 with our fully trained staff. All you have to do is lie or sit in a warm, comfortable space and listen to a guided 30-minute meditation. You will wander along a forest path, meet a deer and stop at a wishing well. This therapy is excellent for insomnia, stress management and promotes creative problem solving. This workshop is available to everyone in the community, however places are limited, so if you would like some more information or would like to book your place phone 051 561016.
Trip to Knock

Tomi Reichental was born in Slovakia in 1935. At the age of nine he was captured and deported along with 12 family members to a concentration camp. As one of only three Holocaust survivors living in Ireland, Tomi is mindful that the horrors of the Holocaust will soon pass from memory to history. Tomi is on a mission of remembrance and we are honoured here in Grantstown Community Village that Tomi has agreed to come to share his unbelievable story with us and our community. Please come and join us on Friday, July 19, at 7.30 p.m. to listen to Tomi's chilling and shocking story, yet remembering we are so privileged to hear about his journey and what a piece of history it is. Please note this is a free event.
Patron and field day
The Ballymitty field day has been cancelled due to the Leinster final but the patron takes place on Sunday, June 30, with prayers at 1.30 p.m. The raffle will go ahead at the monster bingo on Monday night at 8 p.m. Tickets will be on sale in the car park after the patron.

The Tullicanna Music Festival takes place on Sunday, July 14, at Stafford's of Tullicanna from 5 p.m.
Dancing continues every Thursday night at Tír na nÓg with music on Thursday, June 27th. There will be no dancing due to a wedding but dancing will go ahead on Saturday night, June 29th, instead with the Wicklow man and the Drinagh Mummers. Refreshments will be served.
GAA club notes
This week's lotto jackpot is €13,400. Draw will take place this Tuesday evening. Tickets can be purchased from Doyle's Carrig, Seabreeze drycleaners, Costcutters, Wallace's Hardware, Tír na nÓg, The Homeplace Tullycanna and from any Club Officer over in Grantstown.

Our camogie team play their Champion match this Tuesday in Cushinstown. All support appreciated.
A few acknowledgements in our ladies' football, Well done to Aoife Rossiter, Rachel Scallon and Kayleigh Nacey, who were involved in the county under-13 blitz in Laois. Jane Rossiter was part of the intermediate squad who have advanced into a Leinster Final, beating Kildare 4-09 to 1-14. Hard luck to Serena Reville and her teammates who lost their semi-final game by three points. Hard luck also to Shane Murphy, who was involved in the management of the under-14 and who also trains our Junior Ladies.
On the camogie front Lorna Ffrench represented the County Intermediate camogie team who played Carlow last weekend in their championship match.
This week's fixtures: on Thursday, the under-15 boys' football have a home game to St Mary's Maulditown at 7.30 p.m. The Junior Hurling team play St Mary's Rosslare at 7 p.m. On Sunday the Hurling Leinster Final is on in Croke Park. On Monday our under-17 hurling team have a home game v New Ross at 7.30 p.m. while our under-16 girls travel to Gusserane also on Monday. Deepest sympathy to Seán Quinn and family in Wellingtonbridge and Olive Quigley and family on the sad death of Seán Og Quinn, aged 48 in Colchester England last week. Seán is survived by his wife Suzanna, daughter Katie, father Seán, brothers Kevin, Pat, the late Ciarán and sisters Monica, Lil and Olive, relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements later. May he rest in peace.
For the past number of years, Danescastle Music Group/Bannow C.C.É. has held an annual Seisiún summer show in Loftus Hall and the Horse and Hound. This year the venue is Coast, Rosslare. Every Tuesday night the group will perform at 8.30 p.m. The show includes a selection of music, song and dance and the audience is guaranteed top-class entertainment. For the second half of the show, audience members are invited to participate. Admission is just €5 and the show takes place every Tuesday during July and August.
Save the Date - Kilrane-Rosslare Harbour Tops Community Group will host the eighth annual Community Weekend on July 20 to July 21. Lots of summer fun with Monster Treasure Hunt, Children's Art Competition, raffle for Guided Tour and Demonstration at Rescue 117 Base and Operations, blessing of the Boats, Crab Fishing Competition, village field day with Duck Racing, Crazy Golf, Hook-A-Duck, Bouncy Castles, Open Air Live Music with Lee and Fitzy, Stalls, Games and all the fun of the fair. Rosslare Harbour RNLI
This year, in conjunction with the annual KRH Community Weekend running over July 20 and 21, the Rosslare Harbour RNLI Fundraisers will host the annual barbecue and Hog Roast at Ballytrent House on Saturday, July 20, with food served from 5 p.m. Live music by Shay Russell on the evening and tickets available from Bernie Mullen, KRH Tops Community Group, or any member of the Lifeboat Fundraising Committee. A fantastic family evening not to be missed, and a collaboration in our efforts to provide a great community spirit in our area.
Environmental Group Notes
As the Tidy Towns adjudicators will be in the area shortly, the group would encourage everyone to make an effort to keep their area clean and tidy. Now is the time to paint that wall and to tidy up the garden. Please don't forget the bit outside of your property that we just couldn't get to. Every little help is appreciated. The group meets up every Wednesday evening at 6.30 p.m. and on Saturday mornings at 9.30 a.m. in the Memorial Park if you wish to assist us in our endeavours.
A WEEE (Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment) cage for small household electrical goods such as toasters, kettles, electric drills and a container for the recycling of fluorescent tubes is situated at the back of the Railway Social Club. It is open on Saturday mornings between 10 a.m. and 11.30 a.m., weather permitting. The group's activities can be monitored on their Facebook page 'Rosslare Harbour-Kilrane Environment Group'.
Carne Swim Week
Carne Swim week will take place this year from Monday, July 8, to Saturday, July 13, Wexford Water Safety run this course and cater for beginners up till safety four. GAA club notes
The numbers drawn on June 18 were 8, 11, 17 and 29. The jackpot €5,800 was not won. Three match-three winners - Marina O'Byrne, Bernie Roche and Maxi Power. Next draw is on June 25 in the clubhouse at 8 p.m. and is €5,950. Tickets are €2 and can be bought off all Managers, players, committee members and places around the parish.
Our adult team had a good win against St Fintan's in the football league 5-12 to 3-12.
Our under-20 team is with Kilmore and the Hurling championship will be in July. Manager is Conor Roche, 087 2027202.

Our under-15 manager is Liam Brohan, 086 3425445. They are doing very well winning all their matches. Next match is away to Crossabeg-Ballymurn football at 7.30 p.m. on July 11 and at home football at 19.30 p.m. on July 18 against St Joseph's.
Our under-17 team manager is Larry Morrissey, 085 8584661. They are doing very well and have won all championship matches so far. Next match is football at home at 7.30 p.m. on June 24 against Rathgarogue-Cushinstown. Away to Adamstown at 7.30 p.m. on July 1. Football and away to Kilmore on July 15 at 7.30 p.m.

We are very proud that two of our schools received Hurling 365 flags: Kilrane and Rosslare Strand national schools. Thanks to both principals and all the teachers. Members, who helped in particular were Sue Shortal, Derek Howlin and Liam Lawlor. Thanks to JJ Doyle, who is our GPA, for all his hard work.
The shop is open on home match days and is stocked with socks, nick, tops, hurls etc. in the colours of the club. So come along and wear the club colours.

Camogie Club news
Our under-12s lost out to Castletown in the championship on a scoreline of 5-0 to 2-01. The team battled hard. All of our scores came from the excellent Aoibheann Quirke. The girls will be back in action on Friday next when they have an away match against Ferns.
Our under-14s played a practice match against Ferns and lost by the narrowest of margins in a really tight match. The final score was 2-01 to 1-05.
The under-10s entertained Blackwater in Tagoat and came away with a narrow win in their first league match. There were some excellent skills on display. The final score was 3-01 to 3-00. The team will be back in action next Thursday when they are away to Cushinstown.
