The parents' association are having a 'Clothes Recycling' collection this Thursday, March 7, outside the school at 9.30 a.m. and we appreciate your support. Our annual Book Fair will start this Friday, March 8, and continue till Wednesday, March 13.
Our First Holy Communion children made their First Confession on Wednesday night last, and they are working hard in preparation for their First Holy Communion day on Saturday, May 18.
Our junior classes had a lovely time visiting Cólaiste Abbain recently where they saw baby chicks and some lambs, thanks to Mr O'Connor and his team.

Well done to Mr Haddigan for organising the ski trip to Italy creating fantastic memories for our students and exposing them to new cultures and expanding their worldview.
Mr O'Connor and the Agri Club have been very busy recently hatching eggs in the incubator, and looking after the baby chicks. We are so delighted that all aspects of rural life are being promoted and celebrated in Coláiste Abbáin and it is great to see the first year students so interested in the Agri Club.
Thanks to Brianna Furlong McGrath for designing our Past Pupils notice board outside the office. Hopefully this will encourage our exam students to work harder.
Lourdes Ticket Draw
Tickets are on sale now for our annual Lourdes Draw in which we hope to send three parishioners to Lourdes in May. Tickets cost €5 and any household may purchase up to four tickets. Draw confined to Adamstown Parish. Draw will take place on Palm Sunday, April 14. Your support is very much appreciated.

Adamstown Cemetery Committee invites applications from tenders for the laying of a new path from the cemetery entrance in the churchyard to the cemetery toilets.

A public meeting will be held in Adamstown Community Centre on Tuesday, March 5, at nine o'clock to make arrangements for the Pat Byrne Memorial Road run. The total proceeds will go to the St Abban's Church Parochial funds.
St Patrick's Day Trad Session
On St Patrick's Day there will be a Trad Session in Cullen's Lounge commencing at 9.30 p.m. March 17, music by local musicians.
The session is a fundraiser in aid of the Community Centre Development Fund. Tickets are €5 each, door prizes and raffle.
