Clonard Parish Visitors
Clonard Parish Visitors group was set up in December 2014, in response to an awareness of a sense of loneliness and isolation among some elderly and housebound parishioners in our community. While on Communion Visits, it was obvious to Monsignor Lennon, Fr Barry and Sr. Mary how much the parishioners enjoyed those visit and how much they appreciated the warm human contact, so the Clonard Parish Visitors group was set up. We are highlighting this Parish Service, so if you know someone who would welcome a regular visitor, we would like you to take a flyer home with you, the flyers are available at the entrances of the church. The visits are requested by the older/housebound person, or a family member on their behalf through Karen in the parish office. The visit is a very good way of keeping the older/housebound person feeling part of or linked into the parish.
Rooms are available for hire at very competitive rates. Contact Karen at 053 9123672 or email email@example.com for more information.

Congratulations to our clubmen involved - to Michael Laffan and Darragh Carley members of the minor squad who are now Leinster champions for the first time in 34 years and to senior club and county netminder Mark Fanning, scorer of the vital penalty which put the daylight between Wexford and Kilkenny on the day and saw the return of the Bob O'Keeffe cup to the Model County after a 15-year wait. What a proud day for Wexford and Glynn-Barntown - your club salutes you.
