Bree Tidy Towns
Bree Tidy Towns are appealing to the householders of Bree to help with financial support of €5 (or more) towards the upkeep of the public areas of our village.
There are two Community Employment Project workers delegated to carry out the work needed to keep the village looking well. Tidy Towns has to contribute €10 per week per worker to this scheme. We also have to pay for the equipment, maintenance thereof, plants, paint, lawnmower petrol and so on.
We are still solvent, but will not be for much longer, unless we can raise funds through help from the community. One of our committee will call to your house over the next few weeks to ask you for a contribution. Thanking you in advance, Jutta O'Meara, 086 2712147, secretary Bree Tidy Towns Committee.
