The club have had great wins over the last couple of weeks in Championship matches, the ladies football team winning well over Gusserane, the Junior men's football team took the points from Fethard and the Intermediate football squad finishing strong over St. Marys Maulditown. Well done to all involved.
Junior hurling this weekend in their championship match which takes place in Taghmon on Friday evening. They take on Gusserane. Best of luck.

The dance is on in Carrig on Bannow community centre on Friday 21st August from 9.30pm-12 midnight. Music by John Hogan admission €8 teas and refreshments served. There will also be a raffle on the night all proceeds going to our St Patrick's Day parade which we hold annually in our village. We hope you can support this great night. The Corach Ramblers AGM was held on Friday 17th July. The following officers were elected: Chairperson: Billy O'Brien. Secretary: Clodagh Barry. Treasurer: Toddy Barry. PRO: Sarah Meyler. Pitch Coordinator: Peter O'Brien. Committee Members: Willie Wallace, Eugene White, Stephen Diskin, Breda Walsh, Sandra Keegan.
We would like to thank Peter for all his hard work and commitment over the last year as chairperson. We would also like to thank Leanne McGrath, Sinead O'Connor and Graham Sinnott.

The season has kicked off with most teams back training in the last week. The first match of the season was a pre season friendly for the Men's A Team against Kilmore last Sunday. An under-strength team lost 4-1. Ben Brosnan scoring the Corach goal. They face Fastnet Rovers at home on Thursday 13th at 7.15p.m.
Membership for 2015/2016 Season: Adult: €100; Student: €50; One Child: €30; Two Children: €40; Three Children: €50; Social Member: €20. Registration nights are being organised over the following weeks. Keep an eye on the Corach Ramblers FC Facebook page for updates.

Film Night: We are planning our first ever Film Evening at Grantstown Day Care Centre. On Friday 21st August at 7.30pm. The Rabbit and the Teasel by Els Dietvorst. Film duration is 1 hour and slides 15 minutes. The film is based on Farm life and is filmed on location around Duncormick.
In the U10 mini league we had a very good win over Fethard. In the U14 league/Championship playoff we were beaten by Fethard after putting up a very good performance. Hard luck girls.
A mass will be held in memory of Jim Mullane on Friday 14th August at 7pm in Carrig church.

The Irish Agricultural Museum will host the 2015 Open Potato Championship as part of the Annual Gardening Show on 12th & 13th September. Piercestown Servers Outing is on Thursday morning. Bus leaves Church at 10am-bring packed lunch and change of clothes.

Chris Culleton will hold a Family & Friends CPR coffee morning in St.Martins Gaa Center on Sunday 16th August at 10.45am.The Adult module will be presented on the morning and will give the basis of saving the life of a person who has suffered a Cardiac Arrest. Well done to our Intermediate football team last weekend beating Cranford 6-10 to 1-07. This means we play Ballyhogue in our final game with a chance to get to the quater final in two weeks time.
This weeks fixtures, our Junior B hurling team play Clongeen in Taghmon on Thursday night at 7pm, with a chance to get to the District semi final, and our Junior hurling team play Gorey on Sunday at 5.45pm in Oylegate with a chance to get to the County quarter final. Please come out and give your support to these teams.
The GAA Lotto takes place this Tuesday night in the Centre, when the Jackpot will be €8,000, so get your tickets in by 8pm.

Cul Camps are in Taghmon this week, this always brings great fun and enjoyment to all our young players and we are expecting a big turnout. Cul camps is a great place to enjoy & learn new skills.
U8's & U7's played Kilmore Saturday morning, both teams displayed great talent in their games. U10's have no training this week as most of the boys and girls will be attending cul camps.
U12's had 2 tough games this week. Tuesday night they played St.Annes in hurling. They were beaten by a better side but our lads never gave up and continued to pick off points and they kept on trying throughout the game. On Thursday night they had a football playoff against Ratharogue/Cushinstown for 2nd place in the Wexford South Group. This was a tough battle and our boys held on to win 3-07 to 3-04. They now play on Saturday 15th August in St. Patrick's Park against Horeswood in the Final. This game is at 12.30pm your support would be appreciated.
Our minors play St.Martins in Premier Football this Tuesday night in Piercestown.
A thank you on behalf of the club: last week a match was on in Taghmon and we would like to thank one of our U14 players who found a sum of money and handed it over. The money belonged to a parent of the visiting team and they very much appreciated the honesty of this young man.
Family Fun Day
On 22nd August the Vintage Club have organised a Family Fun Day in Rochfords of Camross. Proceeds of this day are going to Coiste Na nOg, Ladies football & Camogie. So please come and support this day. There is a 5km bike run/walk for over 16's, Tag Rugby for the younger kids, evening music and plenty of other usual fun events & games. Tickets are priced at €5.
CASTLE VINTAGE CLUB
Castle Vintage Club Family Fun Evening will take place in Rochford's Camross on Saturday 22nd August. Starting with Adult Cycle Run at 4pm followed by Music by Freeway, BBQ plus many other attractions. All support would be greatly appreciated.
