Staff at Permanent TSB in both Wexford town and Gorey came together recently and presented a cheque for €6,000 to a local cause that is very important to them, the Cardiac First Responders in Gorey and Kilmore.

The money was raised after the staff completed in the popular 'KUBE' fundraiser competition at the Amber Springs Hotel in September,organised by CFR Gorey.

'It's a fantastic achievement by Permanent TSB Wexford and Gorey. We would like to would like to thank staff who organised the fundraising event, contestants, heat sponsors, local businesses who promoted the event ant advertised in the event programme, the public who attended, the Amber Springs Hotel Gorey who donated the venue,' said Sabrina Furlong of Permanent TSB.

'We would like to wish Cardiac First Responders Gorey and Kilmore all the best in the future, it is just amazing what you all do, keep up the great work that you all accomplish for your communities'.

The winner of the KUBE on the night was Elizabeth O'Grady, and her prize was €1,000, donated by main sponsors Dave Howick FHM Accountants Gorey.
