THE founder of a company with Wexford links was invited to speak on the panel the the launch of Chambers Ireland's annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards in Dublin Castle on March 3.
The awards recognise the work of companies engaged in all spectrums of CSR.
Carambola Kidz was the 2013 and 2014 winner of Excellence in CSR by an SME with founder Colm O'Brien speaking to the Dublin Castle gathering.
Anna Wickham of Oven Door Catering based out of the Wexford Enterprise Centre in Kerlogue is Carambola Kidz Southeast Partner.
Madeleine Quirke, CEO of Wexford Chamber, who attended the launch in Dublin said:
'At its core, CSR) is about companies taking on a responsibility and awareness of their effect on the local community, environment, their employees and stakeholders.
'Companies that engage in CSR make a commitment to run their business in a sustainable and responsible way.
'Whether your commitment is big or small, it will make a difference.'
