Some of Ireland's most inspiring businesswomen are set to take to the social media airwaves as part of a new digital show which is the brainchild of Rosslare social media consultant Samantha Kelly.
Also known as 'The Tweeting Goddess' Samantha is the founder of the Women's Inspire Network (WIN) which hosts the new show featuring prominent Irish businesswomen sharing advice and insights on establishing and growing a start-up in Ireland. It officially launched across all platforms - YouTube, Facebook and Twitter - on Thursday and has had some great reaction. Samantha hopes it will encourage and reassure other female entrepreneurs, as well providing practical advice.
'There is huge benefit in the experience of others who have taken a similar path to your own,' she said. 'From the very start the Women's Inspire Network was based on mentoring, networking and friendship, and our new regular vodcasts will extend that reach, connecting more women who can benefit from the experiences of other entrepreneurs.'
The first show featured fertility counsellor Helena Tubridy discussing her natural holistic approach to couples fertility and pregnancy counselling. The qualified psychotherapist and former midwife offers insights on stress management, combining parenthood and careers, and on setting-up her own natural healthcare clinic.
Further podcasts see contributions from award-winning hair and make-up artist and model Sharon D who talks about her successful new business 'Ireland's Got Curves'; campaigning mum Rachel Gleeson who founded the 'Our New Ears' charity for parents of deaf children with cochlear implants; Suzanne O'Leary of O'Leary Travel who talks of the ups and downs of a family run business and business partners Lynne Ward and Martina Perry of 'Pepper Hustle' talking about making friends in a country village.
The Women's Inspire Network is also due to host its annual conference on Tuesday, October 22, in the City North Hotel & Conference Centre at Gormanston in county Meath.
