It was while reading a book penned by the late, great Liam Gaul that the idea for Sequah came to local screenwriter Billy Roche. Given a remit to create a short film based around Johnstown Castle, Billy had been searching the archives, looking for “something light on its feet”, a kernel of an idea he could base the film on.
