WEXFORD RACECOURSE hosts its annual ladies’ day at Bettyville on Friday evening when the excitement of good national hunt racing will be allied to the glamour and glitz of this special occasion.

There will be valuable prizes for the winning ladies in association with the Lyrath Estate and New Mood Boutique, with guest judge, Lorraine Booth, the one with the difficult decisions to make on the evening.

The first of a seven-race card is off at 4.45 p.m., the two-mile Lyrath Estate and New Mood Boutique Ladies Evening Maiden Hurdle. Next is the Traynors of Wexford handicap hurdle over two and a half miles, and the third hurdle is at 5.50 p.m., the Think Print and Design race.

There are three chases on the card - the Boylesports App for beginners over two miles four at 6.25 p.m.; the Irish Injured Jockeys’ Fund race at 7 p.m., and the two-mile Wexford Welcomes Racing TV Members handicap over two miles. Racing concludes at 8.10 p.m. with the two-mile mares’ bumper.
