KILLENAGH HORSESHOE Club maintained their stranglehold on the Hillybilly League, securing the main title for the fourth year in succession.
They overcame Kilanerin in the Division 1 final, while the Division 2 honours went to Craanford who accounted for The Bunker Bar. The Division 3 title was won by the Corner House, seeing off The Gap.
A total of 60 players took part, and Michael Sunderland Jnr. from Killenagh won the player of the tournament accolade for the second time.
A big thank you to the Craanford team for running the final on their grounds, and to the ladies for the lovely spread they put on afterwards. A special word of appreciation to ‘Big Joe’ O’Donoghue of The Gap for his great work in running this competition over the years. The Gap have won it eight times so far, with Killenagh making steady progress in second spot as they are now on four titles.
