Water outage in Clonroche

THERE will be a water outage in the Clonroche area for a period of time today.

The outage will occur between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and a spokesperson for Wexford County Council said it’s to facilitate emergency repair works.

Irish Water said a water treatment plant interruption may cause supply disruptions to Clonroche and the surrounding areas.

It’s recommending that people allow two to three hours after the estimated restoration time for the supply to fully return.
