A major launch event will take place in the Rapparees-Starlights GAA Club on Tuesday, November 29, at 8 p.m.

The club will present an outline of its plans to develop and upgrade the facilities at the complex in Bellefield.

The organisation is at the heart of the community in Enniscorthy and a spokesperson for the club said that because of that the club feels it’s important for the people of the town to hear first-hand the exciting plans that are in place.

“We are all proud to call Enniscorthy our home and we must work together to ensure we build a bright and exciting future for our community and we have exciting plans we would like to share with you to explain how we intend to play our part in Enniscorthy’s future,” said the spokesperson.

Work has begun on Phase 1 of the ‘Building Bellefield’ project and the spokesperson said the club prides itself on being “a community sports and recreational hub for all our people”. The club also feels the development plans will be of great benefit to the town.

It's expected that the launch night on Tuesday will also include an outline of how the wider community in Enniscorthy will benefit from the plans including within the area of people's general health and wellbeing.

“Our future is bright and we would like you to share in that future,” said the spokesperson.
