A defendant was given time to pay compensation when her case went before last week’s sitting of Gorey District Court.
Emer Archibold, 77 Glenrichards Wood, Poulshine, Gorey, was charged with criminal damage arising out of incident that occurred at Main Street, Gorey, on August 8, 2021.
During the incident glasses belonging to two members of the gardaí were damaged and when the matter went before Judge John Cheatle on Wednesday, solicitor, Lana Doherty, asked for a date in July so that compensation could be paid.
The judge then adjourned the matter to July 20.
