A defendant who drove without insurance and a current NCT and tax disc, was fined €400 by Judge John Cheatle at Wexford District Court.

Kieran Doyle, Ballygalvert, Ballywilliam was stopped at a checkpoint at Raheen, New Ross on March 28, 2020.

A garda witness said he had no documents displayed on the vehicle and they were not subsequently produced. Fixed charge penalty notices were issued but were not paid.

Judge Cheatle imposed a fine of €400 on the insurance charge, marking the other offences taken into account, and allowed six months to pay the fine.
